Biography

1996-2001 Completion of university studies at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at Nasser University in the city of Al-Khums, Libya.

During the final two years of study, collaboration with some professors at the university on several projects, particularly through computer-aided architectural drawing.

Professional Experience until the End of 2002

Work at the Al-Marqeb Engineering Office in Al-Khums, Libya, as well as collaboration with the Al-Shorouq Engineering Office in Al-Khums and the Al-Salalah Company in Tripoli, Libya. Numerous projects were completed, including works for mosques and friends in Germany.

2010 Equivalency of the university degree as a certified bachelor's degree in Germany.

Subsequently, work in construction execution with Trivisan Bau, and internships with Mahdy & Türkeli and K2, all based in Berlin.

After gaining comprehensive experience through work with public and private companies, consultancy and design offices, as well as individuals, the time became right to establish the architectural consultancy and design office (AB-Architektur) in March 2018 in Berlin.

Interdisciplinary Perspective and Projects

Following studies in architecture and architectural design, an awareness grew regarding the importance of being acquainted with various professions and disciplines closely related to and complementing architectural concepts.

This curiosity sparked an interest in learning multiple crafts and technical programs. The range of completed projects includes:

- Residential, industrial, healthcare, commercial, and recreational buildings

- Academic study projects

- Executed and proposed projects

Moreover, wooden projects were designed, including furniture and interior installations such as pulpits, prayer niches, and Mashrabiyas. These involved the use of CNC and laser cutting machines. Salon designs were also developed, alongside landscape planning, the integration of modern irrigation systems, lighting elements, and the creation of modern smart home designs.

Additionally, the selection of suitable construction materials to ensure durable, sustainable, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly architecture was a key focus.
