Hotel and Beach Club

Graduation Project in 2001

A hotel and beach club project in the city of Al Khums, covering a total site area of 420,822 square meters. The design was based on the concept of burying and covering areas of the sea where the rocky terrain rose significantly, with water depths ranging from 30 to 70 square centimeters, to create extensive submerged spaces within the site. In addition, lower-lying areas with depths of up to 3 meters were integrated into the design.

The project’s distinctive feature was the burial and utilization of the elevated coral rocks in the topography to provide additional space for the project. Further excavation in the deeper areas of the topography was done to create a harbor and swimming pools.

The project was developed in 2001, with a new architectural presentation in 2021.
